ENHANCING ATHLETICS, SAFETY + SCHOOL SPIRIT

North Collins Central School District’s 2022 Capital Improvements Project addressed critical facility needs identified through the District’s Building Condition Survey while modernizing learning environments across the District. The $7.95 million investment focused on improving infrastructure, safety, athletics, and technology to better serve students, staff, and the community. 

At the Jr./Sr. High School, the project introduced athletic enhancements, including a new turf field, field lighting, backstop netting, and a dedicated athletic entrance vestibule. Additional safety upgrades included water pipe replacements, electrical panel improvements, building control enhancements, and a secure main entrance. 

The Elementary School received security upgrades like main office access controls, and interior renovations such as new interior corridors, classroom storage improvements, art classroom sink replacements, water bottle filling stations, and generator upgrades.  

Both buildings also received roof replacements and District-wide technology improvements. The completed project delivered safer, and more efficient learning environments, with a major focus on District-pride, beaming through the new athletic entry.
