HISTORY MEETS INNOVATION IN BUFFALO’S THEATER DISTRICT
Located in a circa 1901 Beaux Arts building in the heart of Buffalo’s Theater District, this project transformed a historic space into a dynamic, flexible office environment. The challenge was to create a space that offered a mix of zones for both individual and collective work.
Aside from the flexible meeting areas, the state-of-the-art technology implemented throughout the office supported both in-office and remote work. A key focus of the project was centered around employee wellness. The final design featured wellness zones equipped with cozy seating areas, refreshment stations, and fireplaces, all aimed at enhancing staff happiness, and engagement. The space celebrates the building’s rich history by incorporating elements like original hardwood flooring and exposed brick walls, while also integrating modern touches like flexible furnishings and an industrial-chic design.
The renovation balances the building’s historic charm with modern office needs, creating an inviting, productive space for all who use it.
