A DISTRICT-WIDE TRANSFORMATION ROOTED IN RENEWAL
In response to a building condition survey that revealed aging systems and outdated learning environments, Sweet Home Central School District launched a comprehensive, twophase Capital Improvement Project with the goal of elevating the quality, safety, and comfort of every campus.
At the Middle School, building systems were upgraded, including new airhandling units, cooling tower, and a fully updated PA system. The cafeteria was completely reimagined with brighter lighting, new flooring, and redesigned serving areas, creating a more welcoming and functional dining environment. Moving into the High School, work focused on revitalizing core academic and community areas including new flooring, ceilings, and mechanical upgrades, such as a highefficiency chiller and for water distribution. Student spaces such as the gymnasium, auditorium, corridors, locker rooms, and senior lounge were refreshed with new finishes, improved ventilation, and modern theatrical lighting and sound.
District-wide efforts continued at the Elementary Schools, including modernized classrooms and HVAC systems, and the Transportation Service Center saw essential infrastructure upgrades. Together, all these improvements strengthened building performance, elevated indoor comfort, and renewed learning environments across the entire District.
