MAKING A SPLASH: REVAMPING FREWSBURG’S POOL
Frewsburg Central School District's Middle/High School pool, built in 1976, needed a major makeover as part of the 2021 Capital Improvement Project. It was showing signs of age and exceeded state regulations for official swim meets.
Young + Wright Architectural worked closely with the District to understand the needs and create a plan to redesign the pool area. This plan included infilling seven feet of the pool to bring it into compliance with state regulations, allowing the District to host competitive swim meets. This renovation also involved replacing all pool equipment and re-tiling the pool deck with high-quality finishes.
The new pool is now fully compliant for official swim meets and serves as an asset for both the school and the community.
