LANCASTER CSD’S LEGENDS PLAZA AND DISTRICT-WIDE RENOVATIONS
Lancaster Central School District embarked on a multi-phase renovation plan to modernize its facilities and address critical infrastructure needs.
A major highlight of this project was the addition of a turf field complex at the High School, along with the creation of 'Legends Plaza' to connect the field to the campus and amplify community pride. Additionally, the Middle School auditorium, gymnasium, classrooms, and specialized rooms for home economics, art, and guidance were modernized to enhance learning. Renovations also extended to the High School and Court Street Elementary, where science classrooms, and auditorium upgrades such as new rigging were introduced. Notably, at Como Park Elementary, 22,580 square feet of interior space was demolished and reconstructed, resulting in two-thirds of the original outdated classrooms being successfully rebuilt with functional instructional space, and adequate accessibility. Additional upgrades were addressed at Hillview Elementary, John Sciole Elementary, and the District’s Admin Building, completing a full campus-wide transformation.
Lancaster CSD’s multi-phase transformation has upgraded and modernized infrastructure and aesthetics across the entire District.
